No need to exercise your memory to remember people by their phone numbers or look them up. You can add names of people you talk to right inside the app, without leaving the conversation.
And your business and personal contacts are kept separately.
Here's how to save your contacts:
- Open the conversation with the contact you'd like to save in your OpenPhone address book
- Tap on the phone number to enter the name
- Tap on Done
That's it! Now when talking to this contact you'll see their name and not just a phone number.
You'll see this person's name in your OpenPhone address book:
This way you can keep your business and personal contacts separate and always know who you're talking to.
If you'd like to edit the name of the contact, long-press on their phone number and you'll see an option to edit their name.
Nobody wants to be just a number so go ahead and add names for the people you talk to on OpenPhone.
