Nobody likes getting a call or a text from an unknown number when it’s actually someone you know.
If you have professional contacts in your device address book and you'd like to sync them with OpenPhone, we'll show you how to do it.
How to sync your iOS contacts
1 - Open the app and tap on the Contacts tab 👥
2 - Tap on + Sync device contacts on the top left-hand side. (Don't see this option? That means you've already granted access to your device contacts)
3 - You'll be presented with a screen asking for the Contacts access. Tap on Enable Access
4 - That's it! Now, you'll be able to see information for your contacts when talking to them via the web or desktop apps.
How to sync your Android contacts
- Open your Android Settings app ⚙️
- Tap on Apps & Notifications
- Select OpenPhone from the list
- Tap on Permissions
- If Contacts is listed in the 'Allowed' list, you're all set. If it's in the 'Denied' list, tap on Contacts and then tap 'Allow' to grant it Contacts permission.
